How is your 2nd week coming along so far? What changes and adjustments have you made? Is it getting easier for you to stick to your new Healthy living for life program or are you staring at your plate and wondering why, oh why, did I start this?
Sit back and think about the reasons you started to diet or exercise. What changes do you want to make? Who do you want to make these changes for? Yourself? Your spouse? Your children? What's your goal?
Start believing in yourself - you have value and you deserve to be the best you can be. Really think about it - do you want to change? Do you want more for yourself? Are you ready to work? Can you make the changes you need to make?
Do not quit - do not feel sorry for yourself. Quitting is not an option. Quitting is the easy way out. Make today the 1st day on your journey to a better you!

ReplyDeleteReally struggling to keep at it, I'm going to be honest I did overeat once or twice but I haven't had anything bad to eat, nothing deep fried or any thing like that.
ReplyDeleteStarted to up my weight lifting and exercise just about every day now.
Got myself a boxing-bag although I haven't used it much yet I plan to use it a bit more since it's nice weather.
I don't weigh myself as my aim is not only to lose fat but to add muscle in the progress.
I still have that one goal that I hang on to and that keeps me motivated: getting healthy and in shape before going to university.
I think you sound really focused. When you over eat you can up your cardio a little to off-set it. Keep up the good work.
DeleteWhenever I struggle, I tell myself to remember that this is MY choice. No one is making me eat the way that I am. For some reason it makes it easier knowing that I made this choice and it is my decision how I eat. I could eat anyway that I want.. but I CHOSE to eat healthy because I am worth it.
ReplyDeleteYes, you are worth it! And I think that when it's your choice to do something, then you OWN it. Way to go!!
DeleteI think everyone at some point in a new eating plan doubts themselves. I know I do! But whenever I want to give up I just remind myself that unless I change my body won't. :) So far this has worked; with just putting my eating into focus I have lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks! :)
ReplyDeleteWay to go! 5 lbs is really good.
