Week 25 Progress
I'm glad that so many people have been coming by here each week looking for information on diet and nutrition. This blog is my record of my journey and what has worked for me. I do want to stress however that what works for one person may not work for another person. Each person is different. Everyone loses weight in different increments depending on their own bodies, what they eat, how active they are and their health in general.
For the majority of people the easiest rule to follow is: eat less calories than what you use up each day. That is really my basic motto. I know it's hard to count calories, fats, grams, etc. Losing weight is hard work sometimes. I never said it isn't. It was hard for me. Some weeks were easier than others. It was a constant matter of trial and error. I had to keep tweaking what I was eating and what types of exercise I was doing. I had to keep at it until I found what worked for me. You need to find what will work for you.
And most important of all - go see your doctor. Get an exam and talk to your doctor about a program that he can advise for you. Go to the library or check out the internet and educate yourself. Find out what calories are, what fats are, how they affect your body. Read up on exercises. Remember, fad diets rarely work. Adjust your eating habits for life.
See you next week.
